Welcome to the BDDG Families Group Programme
We hope you will find support that suits you through the choices we have to offer.

© First timers to the convention – an opportunity to meet Leslie, Rory and members of the Families Group. Each evening at 6.30pm
© Touch Base / Welcome meetings for all Families Group members at the beginning of each day. Meet the rest of the Families Group, hear about developments and any changes to the programme.
© Families’ workshop with Rory O’Connor around the theme on Thursday morning.
© Families group facilitated by Leslie Virgo on Friday morning and Saturday morning. You bring any issues or concerns you may wish to explore.
© Individual sessions with Leslie Virgo or Rory O’Connor or if you prefer, you can go along with your partner or spouse. Available Thursday, Friday afternoon, Saturday afternoon.
© Twelve step recovery groups to explore the promises in more detail as a means of supporting you in recovery. Thursday afternoon, Friday morning, Saturday morning.
© Joint BDDG & Family meetings where a member from each group shares their story with the whole of the convention. Wednesday evening, Friday evening and Sunday morning.
© An Academic day on Thursday exploring developments in the field of addiction to help us broaden our understanding and updates on the new programmes to specifically support Doctors and Dentists.
© Afternoon tea to meet up informally with Family members so you need never be on your own. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
© Al-Anon meetings – Wednesday evening, Thursday evening, Friday afternoon & evening, Saturday afternoon. © Ecumenical service on Sunday morning.
© After dinner get together –this follows the Gala dinner on Saturday evening. A chance to meet up socially with BDDG Families members and say goodbye if you are leaving early Sunday morning.
